Sunset Tour
Paddle in one of the most beautiful spots on the east coast. With an experienced local guide and a small group, you’ll explore crystal-clear waters, spot turtles, stingrays, dolphins, and more. Relax on secluded beaches and finish with a stunning sunset over the water.

Important: Each child under 18 must be accompanied by an adult in their kayak. We require one adult per child when booking. Please check your booking meets this requirement.

Join our expert guide at 1770 Liquid Adventures for an unforgettable sunset kayak tour through the stunning waters of 1770 and around the Sir Joseph Banks Conservation Area. Paddle through pristine waterways, enjoy the breathtaking scenery, and witness a sunset like no other. There’s no better way to discover the beauty of 1770 than from the water!
Start Point:
Meet at the 1770 Foreshore, where your friendly guide will get you sorted with a paddle, life vest, and kayak buddy.
Before We Paddle:We’ll run through some quick kayaking techniques and safety tips—simple stuff to make your paddle smooth and enjoyable.
The Tour:
- Duration: 2.5 hours
- Route: Paddle from the 1770 Foreshore to the Headland, with a few scenic stops along the way.
- The Grand Finale: Pull up on the beach and kick back with complimentary drinks and snacks as you watch one of 1770’s famous sunsets over Bustard Bay.
Good to Know:
- No experience needed, but a moderate fitness level is recommended.
- Age: Kids 12+ can join if they’re paddling with an adult.
- Under 18? You’ll need to paddle with an adult unless we’ve had a chat and okayed it beforehand.
- We use double kayaks for the tour.

Find Us:
We’re located 200m past the 1770 Marina and boat ramp. Look for our trailer and kayaks.
Arrival Time:
Please arrive 15 minutes before your departure time.We cannot wait for latecomers—the sunset does not wait for us.
Need a Lift?
Free Pick-Up:
If you don’t have your own transport, we offer complimentary pick-up from Agnes Water accommodation.
Spots are limited, so please contact us before booking to confirm availability.
Pick-up is usually 20-30 minutes before departure, depending on your location.

Departure times change throughout the year with sunset times.

Weight Limits:
Paddlers must weigh no more than 120kg. The combined weight limit for a double kayak is 190kg.
Alcohol & Drugs:
If you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, you will not be allowed to participate in the tour. No refunds will be given in this case.
Please arrive 15 minutes PRIOR to your departure time.
- Waiver: A waiver must be signed before the tour departs. For children under 18, a parent/guardian must sign on their behalf.
- Alcohol & Drugs: If you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, you will be refused participation and no refunds will be given.
- Weight Limits: Maximum weight per person: 120kg, combined weight for a double kayak: 190kg
- No Smoking during the tour.
- Tour Guide Requests: Please follow the guide's instructions for your safety.
- Minimum Numbers: A minimum of 4 participants is required.
- Tour Changes: We reserve the right to transfer, cancel, or alter the tour due to weather or booking numbers.
- Departure Times: Departure times may change slightly due to tidal conditions and sunset times. Please confirm your departure time 24 hours in advance by calling 0428 956 630 or emailing info@1770liquidadventures.com.au.

- Within 48 hours of departure: 100% cancellation fee.
- More than 48 hours' notice: 10% administration charge of the total booking fee.
We recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.
Beginners are welcome, but you need to be reasonably fit for this tour.

Over 55?
This tour may be physically challenging for some. You’ll need to sit in the kayak for a prolonged period and get in and out several times.
