Paddle through Round Hill Creek, spot dolphins, crabs, stingrays, and a variety of birds, and let the kids use their ID slates to discover new creatures.
Stop for a break at a secluded beach or sandbar, where you can enjoy homemade biscuits, tea, coffee, and juice for the kids.
This small group tour is led by a local guide with many years of experience, ensuring a memorable adventure for the whole family.
Paddle, Play & Explore with the Whole Family
A relaxed kayaking adventure for families with young kids. Paddle through calm waters, explore wildlife, and enjoy quality time together!
Start Point:
Meet us at the 1770 Foreshore, where your friendly guide will get you sorted with a paddle, life vest, and your kayak buddy.
Before We Paddle: We’ll run through some quick kayaking tips and safety info, and each child will be given a marine and bird life identification chart to help spot creatures along the way.
The Tour:
- Duration: 2 hours
- Route: The exact route will depend on the tides and wind conditions for the day, but we might paddle out to a sandbar, explore a beach, or glide along the mangroves.
- The Highlights: Enjoy a short break with tea, coffee, juice, and homemade biscuits while you spot wildlife and learn about the local environment.
Good to Know:
No kayaking experience needed, but a moderate fitness level is recommended. This tour is designed specifically for families with young children.

We’re located 200m past the 1770 Marina and boat ramp. Look for our trailer and kayaks.
Arrival Time:
Please arrive 15 minutes before your departure time.

Paddlers must weigh no more than 120kg.
Not suitable for children under 4.
Please arrive 15 minutes PRIOR to your departure time
Waiver: A waiver must be signed before the tour departs. For children under 18, a parent/guardian must sign on their behalf.
Alcohol & Drugs: If you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, you will be refused participation and no refunds will be given.
Weight Limits: Maximum weight per person: 120kg, combined weight for a double kayak: 190kg
No Smoking during the tour.
Tour Guide Requests: Please follow the guide's instructions for your safety.
Minimum Numbers: A minimum of 4 participants is required.
Tour Changes: We reserve the right to transfer, cancel, or alter the tour due to weather or booking numbers.

Within 48 hours of departure: 100% cancellation fee.
More than 48 hours' notice: 10% administration charge of the total booking value.
Bookings that do not meet our age or adult supervision requirements will be cancelled. Any non-refundable booking or payment processing fees incurred will be deducted from the refund.
